John C. Plyani Award

Professor Moshe Shapiro, Chemistry and Physics & Astronomy, UBC and PI for the Wall Major Thematic Grant "Coherent Dynamics of Ultra-Cold Molecular Systems" (2009 - 2011) has won the prestigious John C. Polanyi Award, recognizing a recent outstanding advance in the natural sciences or engineering. The award will be presented to Moshe at the upcoming Canadian Chemistry Conference and Exhibition (CSC 2011) in Montreal, June 5-9, 2011.
